Got another pack of NVA8 to have a go at a couple of 'spider holes', after seeing Paul from Empress's ones.
This pack worked well as I had used two of the figures from my first purchase in another project, so got the figures back for NVA and those I now had double of had their legs chopped down.

Also had a go at doing the eyes on these:

Looking excellent as usual mate. What colours did you pick for the NVA uniform? I'm painting some at the minute and have 2 or 3 colours on the go.

These came out a bit darker than the last lot, so I may go back and have another go. I did add a fair amount of mud to them.
A mix of approx 60%' US Dark Green' & 40% 'Splinter Strips', + a bit of 'Cam. Beige WW2' for the hightlights. Should probably have gone 50/50 on the base.

These are a tad lighter and I think I prefer this look.

Also think I've ended up with too many in just plain black kit, so had a go at just painting over the old uniforms on some:

Thanks guys, definitely going to have another go at a lighter uniform on some of them.
Also spotted that despite being painted twice now, that last bloke, kneeling with AK & backpack still hasn't had his hair done!

Got the 12.7 DSHK AAA mount + crew on order, still toying with the idea of having Hanoi Jane getting stuck in, however the hunt for a suitable DDR style helmet head continues...
