She wasn’t wearing a DDR tin hat, it was a standard Soviet SSh 40/60/ 68 jobbie. Plenty of those on the market.

Gun is a bit trickier. UM make a 37mm 61-K AA gun in 1/48 but it’s not for the faint hearted as it has about a million parts, many of them tiny and fragile. I gave up building mine.

Brilliant! Thanks Carlos, you are a literal walking encyclopedia of military knowledge, much appreciated.
In that case I think a 1980's Soviet Mech infantry bloke from Eureka can donate his head. Not going to go for the full on AAA option, just fancy doing 'Jane' for a laugh (no pun intended).

Also did a Mule for the USMC, & found a little resin base that fitted the other RCL that came with the MULE:

Cracking stuff as always. I've ordered the DSHK today, I'll be using yours for inspiration.

Cheers Rick. You'll enjoy that one, the DShK is a lovely model, and it all fits together very nicely.

Thanks very much Paul; I'd normally expect to have run out of steam by now, but all the releases have been perfectly paced for keeping the interest going over the last few months. Got NVA15 on order, and looking forward to having a go at the bloke with the camo parachute material cloak. I found a load of off cuts of that material on eBay several years ago and had a load of stuff sacks made up for my hiking gear, so should have no excuse for not getting it to at least look vaguely right.

Forgot to add these:

Nice. How do the Eureka match up sidewise with the Empress figures?

Thanks. It's a lovely piece. looking forward to the new HQ pack.

These two are a tad smaller than my other Eureka figures, but fit pretty well with the Empress NVA; although they are a bit simpler and do not have the same level of detail in the faces.
