Cheers chaps.

I finished the 105mm Howitzer, to go in the emplacement. Not seen a real one of these, it looks little smaller than I was expecting.

Thanks Mick.

Three of the figures in there came with the gun, there was a fourth but he looked more like a 40k Catachan so got consigned to the spares 'box of shame'.
Here's a few more pics:

How did you do the punched steel flooring?

It's 1/48 scale Pierced Steel Plating (PSP) from a company called Flightpath. Found it on eBay, also search for Marston matting.
Hopefully got enough left for a small landing pad.

Having a go at converting some figures, here's the first, not sure what he's going to be yet.:

You could change the brim of his hat as that changes the look of the figure easily.

Thanks guys.

I didn't want to change this guy too much, as the figures are great as they are, just loose the Aussie bits, so changing the pack was the main part.
Managed to save his '37 patt pack & entrenching tool. Used the pack from one of the NVA (the one with the NVA helmet on the side;salvaged the helmet), that figure now has a smaller pack and US waterbottles.
The rest of that Aussie pack (ANZ3) have all had the butt packs removed, the toggle ropes removed & the '37 patt ammo pouches cut down. Leg pockets added/modified, some sleeve pockets added & probably get extra waterbottles or other kit added. A couple of NVA figures are getting different belt kit & trouser pockets.
The rough idea is that these, the recon & SOG figures could look the part of a MIKE force unit .

Nice work!

Is the howitzer from Westwind? If so it’s 1/60.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Cheers. Yes it's the Westwind version, is there a better sized one out there?

Just remembered , I swapped the wheels for some a bit chunkier.
