Thanks guys.

Thinking of having a go at converting one of the blokes with an M-79, to add to a SOG team.
Rather like the one with the ammo vest, but his head will be the hardest to swap.

Those look great are they conversions?

I would be great if Empress were to release a wounded marines set. They would have som many gaming and scenario uses. I feel like any Vietnam game should have some wounded marines being cas-evaced.

I think it was the same place I found the resin Pots/jars; Full Metal Miniatures.
They're a tad bigger than the Empress blokes, weapons were bigger as well, so I chopped one off and hid the other in the grass.

There are a couple of wounded Marines in the Empress 'Corpsmen and Casualties' pack (NAM21).

There's also a wounded bloke being carried in the bailed out tank crew pack (crew 3)

Had a go at converting one .

You chopped more than the M16 off that one poor fella.  He seems to be missing most of his arm.... :o

Nice job on them, in any event...

Does look like it, his arm is still there ( I think), a bit blended/buried into the base texture. Can just about see the top of his hand.

Not a fan of dead bodies although have the odd one on some other period bases so not too pious in my objections.  :D Just seems a bit grim. Some of the figures for example in the Mutt and Mighty Mite crews are designed to be changed into casualties.

Nothing new added for a while, but did get hold of a book that maybe of interest to anyone doing 'Brown Water Navy'. Covers both the French and US periods.
Also aimed at modellers; lots of pictures of finished models/dioramas, alongside drawings and photos of all the types of vessels used.
