Bullshott, good ideas!

Reading the Foundry book "Risings & Rebellions 1919-1939" by Edwin Herbert I found two other good ones:

-China 1925-1937

-Palestine revolt 1935-1938

Also useful for any pulp, BoB or Call of Cthulhu setting where you want heavily armed British adventurers. Men in civilian clothing with rifles and Lewis Guns would be perfect for adding fire support to fossil hunters in Mongolia and jiust think of the mess they would make of come of the CoC monsters  ;)

I had a look the stuff made by Musketeer today at the Bovington show. They have some very nice stuff along these lines. I am seriously tempted to get a couple of their lancia armoured trucks to support my BoB British.

What a wonderful idea! Now we only need is drivers and sitting people!
I still can remember in the old Copplestone's site when the OB etcx were present a nice setting with several cars and trucks. My only reesrve is that there are lots of civilians with helmets. Some need more variety in the hats.

Any pics from Bovington??

The figures were modelled with a specific 'period' in mind, so they are as limited in that respect as are WW2 US or German Infantry. The only thing that springs to mind as far as an alternate use goes is the previous suggestion of 'Home Guard' , which brings us back into the world of 'what if?'
