« on: June 07, 2019, 10:35:43 AM »
We have Canadian guests staying at l'hotel de Hercé and we planned a personalised DDay tours with them for the 5th and 8th of June.

I have posted on my blog of our adventure and a number of my photos for you to enjoy from the 5th of June events at Carentan and Sainte Mère Église.

Some rare beasts too

Great pictures and somewhat envious of you being there - I was at the Duxford end of the Dakota/para thing.
I'm not always overly impressed by re-enactors but maximum respect to those that did the airborne drop - really bringing the history alive. And excellent also that some people are prepared to bring the big armoured vehicles there at their own expense.
