15mm medieval/fantasy
« on: June 09, 2019, 02:25:56 PM »
Hi all

I’m fairly certain I shared some photos of these minis a long time ago but they’ve been dusted off and I’ve been trying to improve my photography so here goes again.
The minis were originally bought to play as Lannister’s, then they were painted to represent the troops of Warwick, now they’re being added to to represent Redanians from the Witcher. Ho hum they all wear red and the vibe is the same...

They’re based for Lion Rampant but are usable for other rule sets, Saga also springs to mind although I’ve not played Age of Magic yet.

They are a nice looking bunch. Who makes the models?

Peter Pig I'd wager.

They do look grand!

Thanks, the figures are indeed from Peter Pig with several head and weapon swaps.

I can’t rate the range enough, they’re great figures which cover pretty much everything you’d need for the Wars of the Roses. The faces are a bit squishy and the poses per pack are limited but I do like them a lot. I’ve got a few Essex mixed in the next lot and have just ordered some Freikorp’s too.

A couple of slightly closer shots of the same figures.

Very nice!

Are the 3 figures stand, based on 25mm round bases?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

They’re 2ps, 1ps and 10mm (I think) bases.
I keep deliberating on rebasing them as they’re not quite up to my current standard and style but it seems like quite a lot of hassle.
Perhaps as I add more figures to fill gaps and expand I might.
