Particular looking ogres?
« on: June 11, 2019, 03:51:49 PM »
I’m considering getting some ogres or ogre sized big guys for my caveman army.
Trouble is I need pretty basic looking chaps, no metal weapons or even fancy clothing etc. The sort of stuff you find on most fantasy ogres!

I suppose 54mm scale cavemen would do?

Any ideas chaps.

Thanks in advance.

Some of the Reaper Bones ogres might be suitably primitive:

The cave troll might work too:

And then there's the yetis, who look suitably Stone Age:

A few more suggestions:

The Reaper stone giant (for that Hills Have Eyes inbred look):

The Otherworld stone giant (ditto):

And the Otherworld hill giants:

Games Workshop (many years ago) did a large scale (54mm?) range.
Two of the Orcs have done sterling service in my fantasy (25/28mm)
fantasy forces as gigantic beasts. There was in the range a Troll (about
120mm tall if memory serves) It came with choice of heads too. Someone
might have a spare if you ask nicely.

Another set of options would be the giants Conquest Games sells in their Myths of Albion range. They’re all in furs and leather, with primitive weapons.

Oldhammer Giants, Trolls etc will do ...

Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.

I was about to recommend them as I was the sculptor!

Great sculpts, they look particularly smelly and revolting.  And here I thought people were confused with the Conqueror miniatures giants.
