Were you testing scale on the prints, or was there another reason the chairs/beds are in different sizes? Children's chairs in the dungeon? That is one hell of a "time out!" Little Roderick the younger didn't clean his room?! You march yourself right down into the dungeon and think about what you did... and hope the minotaur doesn't eat you.

Yes, probably Will eat him
Actually all the files ( free from thingiverse) are in 28mm scale, so I (my wife under my supervision
) have to downscale them, but not all attempts give the results I want....

I don't suppose it is as easy as simply dropping the dimensions by half

No... Half it's normally too small. I normally go with 70%. But with the 3d printing program (cura) you can have a preview and chiose the length of x y and z. The problem Is if, with an economic printer and downsizing, the print comes out fine. But sometimes if you don't put the object near a minis, you can't have an exact idea of the scale Is good.

Here some newly painted things...
And speaking of scale we have a Ral Partha 28mm barbarian (that it's my Fire giant) near a 100% chair, and a 15mm Ral Partha wood Elf near a 70% chair.
Then 4 chairs around a table. So light that I'm thinking to fix them in this position on a transparent base....

Take a look at Bloodbeard's garage. He has a great tutorial on setting up furniture.

I think this will help you address your table question, without a base.
He has lots of great tutorials, even if this isn't the way you want to go. Definitely worth a look around!

Here some other scenics painted: some barrels and crates, 4 round tables, and a Little torture kit including an iron maiden.
Behind an handmade doorcase. I'm going to make more for all other sceneries....

More fine additions. Going to snap some pics with the newest set dressings?
Also, nominate your wife for spouse of the year. This level of indulging of a hobby is to be celebrated!

I'll post some pictures afterwards when I'll come home.
Good girl... But I have to Say that as Tolkien lover She doesn't dislike to play some not too much complicated skirmish games.... Usually Frostgrave or RoSD. Yesterday we tried for the First Time an almost unknown skirmish game: Bladestorm. 6 vs 6 She destroied me, but I fled with my only surviving wizard with the target sword....
Absolutely a great game!

Man that just looks so good.
Sorry to hear about the game with your wife. Last time I played with my wife she stomped my butt at the Fallout board game. Not because she engaged in any strategy other than letting me explore and fight and... die.

Oh, that is pretty cool. I look forward to seeing him painted up. Did you have to trim supports off?
