Greek Fantasy figures
« on: June 14, 2019, 12:59:01 AM »
I'm looking for some Greek fantasy figures, rather on the large side to go with the Wargods of Olympus from Crocodile games.
Thanks
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Alternative Armies used to have a range of big Greeks called Typhon.
I think they may actually have been a bit bigger than Wargods figures
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Only things I've found that come close size wise are Foundrys Argonaut range and Bronze Age miniatures Greeks. Neither is a perfect match but close.

Not sure what size you are looking for but Alternative Armies Typhon figures are, I believe, 40mm.

There's a few scattered around other ranges. I think Reaper might have a few.  There's the gladiator combat game I forget the name of that has some fantastic individual types, they're resin and quite expensive.

Some of the newer GW witch elf types might fit, the snakey and winged ones in particular.

The Greek Mythic boardgame will have everything you need, if at a price.
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

If you want a large bronze Harryhausen style figure, Crooked Dice have their Talos miniatures:

There are a couple of smaller titans too.
