An harmonious pose, defiant and heroic!  :-*
His sword and the folds of the cape very well done!
Congrats!

Thanks Dino  :)

Btw the cape is detachable for casting ease but also as an option as the armour underneath is fully detailed

Aha, there is my new Lochagos for Mortal Gods :-*. Terrific miniature. It really is on the same level as the best professional sculptors. Impressive feat!

Looks good!

So with those two you have 5? Have you already found a way to get it cast?

Edit:
What do you think after 5 Greeks to do some Etruscans?
Very interesting read and Mortal Gods currently don't have Etruscans mini's.

Etruscans might be interesting, they are pretty close in style any way, another option could be archaic hoplites which could be also be used in more heroic oriented games.
Also im intending to offer some head variations with different helmets that could be used on victrix models also with some minimal tinkering.

My brother used to work as a caster in a company here in Athens. They are doing many well known brands like Andrea, Pegaso, Maim etc. so the top quality is guaranteed. I have a price quote from them and im also checking out some other options. As a person im a stickler for detail so in any case there is no going to be any GW "finecast" level product going out.

Generally this is a passion project. It would be great if it could turn up some profit, but the main reason im doing it is because i wanted some historically accurate hoplites for me and my mates. And offcourse its great fun. Sculpting for me has the same effect with fishing. You are geting into the zone and leave everything else out.

That is great! The casting quality will be superbest than. Let me know when you can pre-order them. My paypal is ready for these beautiful mini's!  :-*

A set of heads for Victrix mini's is a great idea!

As Mortal Gods player, I welcome every miniature / conversion set!
