Any New 15mm - 18mm Sci-Fi Figures?
« on: June 20, 2019, 08:11:23 AM »
About the only recent releases I can think of are the new, GZG Moongrunt figures and vehicles.

Are there any other new, 15mm - 18mm, Sci-Fi figures and vehicles released in the last year or so, that are worth checking out?

Looking for military troops, but also figures and vehicles for cities and spaceports too.

For vehicles, check out https://bladesandblasters.com/, they've got loads of cool stuff!

There's an Ikwen Kickstarter going on as well, worth checking out.

Riley Miller's stuff, right?  Saw them over on facebook.  Looked pretty good.

GZG's new release included Israeli hardsuit resculpts as well as the Moongrunt stuff, and word is they should be getting more packs in the near future - I've seen the Israeli heavy weapons, and I'd guess command must be on theway too.

As mentioned, Eli Arndt has a follow-up Kickstarter for his ranges going right now: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/485545784/loud-ninja-games-the-ikwen-uprising?ref=profile_created

Alternative Armies/Ion Age (can never keep them apart) have had some new sci-fi stuff out too.

Yeah, Alternative Armies recently released some ganger miniatures, but they were a bit larger than ordinary 15mm minis (like GZG).

Jagannath had a comparision picture on his Instagram (@bladesandblastersminis)

Thanks for the info, and suggestions.

I like the Inkwen, but they're a bit archaic for my needs, in the super Sci-Fi future.

Might get a few of them for tribal/pack encounters, in the outback of some backward planet, just for grins.

What about GZG's redone New Israeli Forces.

There are only the two riflemen packs at present but the Support Weapons, SAW, AMR & command troopers are being worked on.

Thanks for mentioning B&B Ockman - hoping to get some new bits up on the shop this weekend too. Started a new job recently that’s eastern up my time a bit.

As noted below - definitely swerve those Alternative armies gangers. They measure about 18mm to the eye even in their crouched poses. Match some old Dark future infantry I have. Way too big.

CP models are also regularly releasing 15mm sci fi now - most recently a Star Trek style away team. Ral Partha are rereleasing the old Critical Mass range too.
