Played a small game on 'Hoth' to try out the 'Strike Legion (Tactical)' rules. Went pretty well. It's in the same sort of ballpark as Future War Commander in terms of the number of bases used. But SL has a bit more of a sci-fi feel I think

And a second game in a jungle setting. Things seem to get destroyed very quickly in SL, so the action moves along pretty quickly.

Those games look excellent! 6mm is a great fit for sci-fi battle games.

Is it even sci-fi if you don't have walkers?  ;)
