You really turn those poorly painted vinyl figures into amazing pieces! I am wondering if you strip them first, or do you just paint over them? How do you strip them if you actually strip them?

A good inspiration for bases for things like this is the reference material. Flip through a comic book at your local shop and see what they are standing on, might have some good ideas!

no, i'm priming them and painting over but with a bit acetone its possible to strip them (not too much!! and do not dip them in acetone :D )

The few clix-figures I have needed all some filling because they had a lot of gaps, holes and unevenness...
But some of the Hero Clix drew my attention, like Jim Corrigan, the Green Lantern or the silver (silver!) Silver Surfer.


Are the clear figures/parts also soft?
