Not near as pretty as those 28mm fellows, here are some Lancashire 15mm Vendee rebels painted but not varnished or based.

A few more pictures here https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/

Nice! If you need some parish unit names let me know!

Quick tip, you should paint your officers in green coats, white sash and feathers.

Cheers
Matt

That's very useful information Matt.  I've also seen an illustration of a group of horsemen in green jackets.  I'm now wondering if they were a group of officers rather than as I originally thought cavalrymen in green jackets?

Parish unit names would be great.

Yes please on the unit names and thank you for the tip on painting officers. At least one of those "officers" is going to become a standard bearer per OB's suggestion.

Thanks very much for those links Macohe.  Great illustrations.

I've now found out there was a small unit of Vendeen cavalry in green coats and helmets.

I should receive my figures today always a happy moment.

So far Ihave found four troops of cavalry were formed.

The gentlemen regiment of 130 men, who were almost all lost at Saumur (90 wounded or killed) in one account dressed in blue (but I think referring to the Cuirassiers du Paris), but upon seeing a painting of one of the company officers at a Château, he was dressed in red (a former officer of the Noailles Gentlemen Regt) in another account they are said to be fully uniformed not like the medley of uniforms like the infantry.

Second is the Hussars, referred to mostly in the northern campaign..

Third again light cavalry used to harass retreating Republican troops.

Finally chassuers at the battle of Entrammes a company of 200 had been raised in the Mayenne Bocage, Brittany and Normandy and arrived in time for the battle lead by Baron de Hercé. (The former owner of our Maison)

Uniforms
Green is mentioned particularly for the Hussars, after the capture of Saumur arsenal and the uniform workshops at Laval, a large number of white and red uniforms, predominantly militia and cavalry uniforms.

Cheers

Beautiful figures in action poses!
I like their patches and cockades and their basing, too!
