Armoured support added to the British OOBs, I think this combination of units will give a good variety of units for the intended company level games.

Should the dismounted element of the infantry sections be 10 men? IIRC it was 8 was it not?
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Some sections had 10 blokes in them

1/48 scale FV432 from HLBS

This is what you get in the box:

It's a well cast resin model with hardly any clean up to do. Having looked over the vehicle and compared it to  old photos and also memory, it looks pretty accurate to me.

Very happy, I can only highly recommend the model.

For the British infantry platoon, I am going to use the Gripping Beast Falklands Range:

These can be ordered in a variety of headwear, I have gone for helmets on all.

That is a surprise, I have most of their Russian vehicles and they are brilliant

They are nice but do come with the odd figure in Falklands specific kit, like commercial hiking gaiters on one or two poses. If you want something more specifically BAOR and just as nice a range, look at the old Mongrel range now being sold by Badger Games.

Mongrel has some great additions, so I will definitely added some for variety.

In respect of Brit soldiers wearing civilian kit, I would have to say we used all kinds of non-issue gear in the field, including webbing, bergens, gaiters, cold weather headgear, mittens, waterproofs, torches and combat knives.

We went to an American PX and bought a load of kit, gaiters, boots, water bottles etc
British army was not as well supplied as the USA!

In fact, I think it was only my SLR, helmet and camo trousers were standard issued kit.
