Khurasan releases second wave of Timurids (AD)
« on: August 08, 2019, 04:17:55 PM »
We are very pleased to release the second batch of 15mm Timurids — the army of Timur the Lame (Tamerlane), arguably the greatest and most terrifying conqueror of all time. Available now:

Soon after the Ottomans destroyed a crusader army at Nicopolis, they got the same treatment from Timur! So the Timurids are the ultimate opponents for Ottomans, and make an interesting what-if opponent for our late 14th Century range as well.

The first batch was the regular cavalry, but now we have released the elephantry (see below), the turcomans, tribal auxiliary infantry, and the regular heavy infantry archers. We also have a seventh pose of regular heavy cavalryman.

The line is looking great!

Those paint jobs are also fantastic, are they Steve Dean?

I'm considering picking these up as a natural opponent to my Medieval Persians...

Thanks
