The Fury of Lions

My last full unit finished for the Warlord Games Open Day on Saturday, 20th July, in Nottingham.



The is a Swedish Cavalry unit, the Uppland regiment, stationed on the right flank of Gustav Adolf's army at Lutzen.  In Schiller's History of the Thirty Years War he describes the Swedish cavalry attacking with "the fury of lions" as they attempted to avenge the death of Gustav Adolf. 



This unit has been made up from the Warlord Games Swedish Cavalry box set.  More details and pictures on my blog here:

These are great!

I've often been a bit lukewarm towards some Warlord Plastics, but whenever I see a whole unit of them I always think they look fantastic.
