Good idea, excepting for the fact that with Area 51 all you'd need is some sunblock... not bobble hat, parka, gloves, thermals, snowgoggles, show shoes, furry boots, dogsled etc. etc. etc.

I wonder how many body bags will be needed after the storm? Afraid too many.

Actually, it would be a good chance to improve the gene pool. Go for it, guys!

;Body bags? Don't need 'em. Just leave them there for 24 hours and the scavengers will resolve the issue.

Great mind's etc
I've been toying with the same idea (well something similar )
Only trouble is it's been a long long time since I read any Lovecraft. There's even a very nicely bound complete works on my bedside table (it's been there since Christmas.)
It's been sneaking into some of the things I've been building of late.
Is the image something you've made yourself or is it borrowed?
As I'd quite happily make the figure set for it.

Sadly not my work. The image is someone else's excellent work I've come across.
I had a thought to try to find a 15mm HPL figure (unsuccessfully) and use him as the main protagonist in some games.
So that he is the narrator rather than an author.
I had dogsleds, penguins, (Not Albinos), persons in Cold Weather gear but sadly not anything suitable for HPL.
