Lovely figures, and I really like the idea of the backdrop.

I'm still unable to make anything nearly as detailed at those faces though. Do you have a magnifying lens to paint under?

Thanks. I find painting faces easy when the sculpting is characterful. Some miniatures faces I struggle to paint because they can be featureless. As yet my eyesight is still good enough that I don’t need magnification.

I spent a long time away from this project, but it’s nice to come back to and paint a figure or two for every now and then.

Very nice work, especially the pinstripe.  The Copplestone range is my favorite for the pulp era. The figures are fun to paint, and with the slotta base tabs, easy to mount on clear bases.  I do wish though that he would add another pack of Beat Cops.

No, I'm not Nick!   :o

Recently took the gangster plunge from the Blue Moon Range (have the Rebel Minis already) and need to order the Khurasan packs (cops and 'bad guys').  Very cool that Blue Moon has great civilian packs to go along with the gun toters.  Rebel has one pack of 5, too, which I doubled up on.  For others who like 15 mm who might dive down this hole, don't overlook the Stay Off The Moors set from Khurasan, very useful figures there.

This thread will make a nice painting guide, so keep busy and keep posting!   lol

Back once again with another addition. My local gaming store had a few packs of Copplestone gangsters that I didn’t have so I picked some up.
I’ll hopefully have a couple more chaps painted today.
Honest citizen? Or bagman for the Mob?

As promised I finished another two today. Despite the photo looking that way, the chap in the blue-grey suit isn’t wearing a mask.

Agree, and very nice painting - they have a real earthy (for the era) feel.
