New Romanian question, artillery?
« on: July 22, 2019, 09:34:26 AM »
Any pointers on field artillery for the Romanian forces?
Mainly light or maybe medium artillery?
What type was used, what nationality?
Probably early to mid war, Stalingrad etc.

Or Italian? Various Obice served with Eastern European forces, I think.

Divisional artillery for Infantry was mainly 75mm and 100mm. 1st Armor Division had one battalion of 105mm

Models in use were:
- 75mm Schneider Putilov model 1902/1936
- 75mm Krupp model 1904/1912
- 100mm Skoda houfnice vz 14; some of these were locally modified in 1934
- 105mm Canon de 105 mle 1913 Schneider

apart from that, there is a bunch of low quantity, captured and other odd equipment.

Many thanks guys.
Geniuses

I’m thinking of light howitzers as this is less powerful and I do intend to have 3 in the list!
Just looking pretty cool.
