Looks great. Did you mention what type of printer you had?

I am using a Prusa i3 printer.

I have finally finished the printing of the Bombed out/ruin Farm house. I have printed this in 20mm scale. Here is what it looks like,

Really nice. I like the details on broken shutters, and the visible woodframe in the roof. Great work !

Thank you.

I am visiting my dad this weekend (where the rest of the printed farm is) so I will get some photos of the whole farm and I will post them up later this weekend.

I popped down to visit my Dad today and while he was unpacking and looking for figures I set up the farm and took some photos on the whole complex. this is what the farm looks like.

This means that the whole farm can be printed at 20mm scale without loosing the detail.

I printed off to many walls and not enough corners:

I left the centre piece out of the stable like building on this photo.

the barn

I have also taken a few photos in the different scaling of the building for use, I have placed a 20mm and 28mm figure next to each building for scaling:

and some other shots of the 20mm building:

Thanks,

There seems to be more interest in 20mm than 28mm lol

Good job it scales down well and I am able to print both 20mm and 28mm.

I printed some 20mm buildings in raw 0.3mm, and it took ages ! I'm not surprised 28mm gamers can be intimidated to print such a big project.

I am not a fan of 0.3mm layers, all the prints you see are either 0.2mm or 0.15.

it takes a while but looks better and finishes better in 0.2mm.

You're right ! But it was the fastest way to have a complete village (including church and ruins) printed in a decent timelapse.

Now that my basic set is done, I'm not against the idea of printing new buildings in 0.2mm.

that's a fair one, Time scale is always a key factor when printing. If you don't print you don't understand how long it takes  o_o

Very nice looking set-up.  I just finished printing and painting one similar from "Printable Scenery".

Thanks,

Once I started designing the farm I found "Printable Scenery" amongst other google images under ww2 Normandy Farm / Flames of War buildings etc. I also looked at several photos from that period to base them on.

My next project for the next several months is a small French town, well the out skirts of it anyway.

Wow, that’s very impressive.  I’d not realised 3D printing had come on so far.
