I see what you mean. The properties of this sort of paint and technique certainly lend themselves to those pustular fellows with all their grisly surface detail

The uniform is Aggaros Dunes and the flesh is Valeman Flesh, or whatever i'ts called - The names of these paints are unintelligible to me.  I can't remember the browns I used for the leather but I can say that I did the ammo let with one thin layer of the Space Wolves Grey and the Basilicanum Grey tone, tho again I may not remember the name completely.

Has anyone tried this on 6mm?

There have been several attempts over on the 6mm page I follow on facebook. I think the figures are too small personally for it to work properly, and I don't think anyone on fb has been too impressed with the result to be honest.
