nice to see the heroquest (?) tiles

Great report, MFB. For some of the mini skirmishes/scenarios do you actually play those out with dice? Some look like they may just be storytelling and others could be some kind of dice rolling to determine the outcome. In the grand scheme of things, I don't mind knowing which is which, I was just curious.

Bloggard - thanks! Yeah, the hill is constructed out of Heroscape tiles. I got a lot a few years ago.

CookAndrewB - I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, everything is played out with dice, from the combats to the negotiations. I use a modified variant of the old The Fantasy Trip system. I do take a bunch of photos, I get carried away by dramatic license sometimes. Like Wallace failing his Climbing check to break into a house in the village, interpreting it as his excess girth seemed kinda amusing.

Stealth Rhino  lol

Getting carried away with dramatic licence is a good thing, a narrative AAR is much better reading than one which majors on the rules of the game or even worse recounts the actual die rolls.

Tell it like a story, especially when done as well as this.

OK, here is the last issue of Shades' Hollow! Hope you like it!

I should get back to my patiently waiting Greywater Chronicles before the end of the month.
