Thanks! Posting here and on my blog helps keep me motivated to finish things. Several on going pieces finished today.

Some CD terrain pieces, several objective marker scatter terrain pieces and some skeletons.

I should have more photos and information on my blog later today if people are interested. EDIT: blog updated with more photos and information.... https://thegrumpygnome.home.blog/2019/08/06/getting-some-work-done/

Any feedback or questions are welcome!

I like the trees - and while the ogre looks a little worse for wear, I imagine the ones living far off the main paths would really let themselves go.

Yeah, I tried to convince my wife of that... but she is not buying it. The oversized axe and spikes as well as the escaping intestine is just too much for her. I could easily modify the axe and shoulder spikes but the intestine would be a real pain for me to convert. The model just screams Nurgle too much for her. It may need to find a new home.... which could help fund my recent Dropfleet obsession...hmm...

Speaking of my wife, one of her pieces today. More information on my blog for the curious.

Experimenting with my new budget light box to show off my Human and bear forms of Beorn.

As usual check my blog for more information.

I do not think the black background material is working well, I will need to experiment with others. And today I figured out how to do a bit of photo processing on an iPad... but I am not sure the tweaked version is much better than the original. At least I know how to crop photos now.

Hi Rick,

some very nice pieces!
Although my idea of Middle-Earth is too much influenced by Peter Jackson I like your idea to use figures from various ranges.

These dwarf converted night goblins are spot-on!

Keep going!

Cheers
Stefan

Thank you both for the kind words! To be fair Stefan you have been one of my biggest inspirations. I am glad you like my Goblin to Gnome conversions, they are my crowning achievement so far.

I have been researching photography of late to try to improve the photos. Hopefully it shows!

Edit: Although to be fair looking back I over exposed some of those.
