One thing putting me off Reaper Bones Dragons right now was the different sizes of all the various dragons. You say that one is big enough to swallow a character whole?

Near enough, I reckon. I'll dig it out a bit later and provide a scale shot.

Here you go. You might need to allow for a dislocating jaw in the constrictor manner, but given that, I reckon it could do a spot of swallowing:

Love you blog especially the scatter terrain. The ship here is great. Clever idea goblins converted to no doubt grumpy gnomes.

Thanks for the help Hobgoblin. That could work. A bit of sculpting work there to make it wingless but the price is a good incentive and I like the look of it in general. I will have to ask my wife if she likes it.

And thank you Golgotha. It always motivates me when I hear someone likes my work. I know my artistic skills are far below the many great artists on this forum but it nice to think my skills have made some progress at least.

My wife is not a fan of the Reaper shadow dragon.

I am currently considering a Schleich or Safari Postosuchus or Prestosuchus.

Very nice stuff here, thanks for sharing.

For the cave dragon, Grenadier's Treasure Guardian dragon is very nice large sized dragon (if not cheap) that would look good also without the wings. Manufactured nowadays by Mirliton and sold also by Noble Knight Games. The stock image is painted in odd purple colour, imagine it painted natural green or brown like real snakes.

Thanks for the kind words.

That is a good looking dragon, a bit static in the pose but I like the look of its head. That said the Cave Drake scenario for Battle Companies has a lot of treasure in its setting so that pose could work.

The price however is going to be too much for me unless I can find a used on one EBay.

Despite being distracted by watching people play mount and blade 2 on YouTube I managed to get some more Orcs done. And a couple of casualty markers. It might interest folks to see Games Workshop, Oathmark and Warlord Games Orcs side by side.

As always, feedback, suggestions and advice welcome. More photos and info on the blog itself if you are curious.

To compare how that last Orc looked before I painted it....

One can never go wrong with yet more orcs. Keep 'em coming.

More Orcs and Ruffians are in progress...

I am quite pleased with how the Mantic Ghoul to Orc Tracker conversions came out. I perhaps should have used greenstuff to give the one without a cloak pointed ears though.

I like your orc builds and head swaps :-)
