Easterlings

A couple of regiments of Easterlings.  Miniatures are Early Saxons from Crusader Miniatures and the Champion is from Footsore.

I like this take on the Easterlings - they look menacing, but not over-the-top. I also like that they look like they could be the distant kin of the Rohirrim. My recollection is a bit fuzzy, but I thought that the Rohirrim had migrated in the past to Rohan and settled, displacing the Dunlanders, which was part of why the Dunlanders sided with Saruman and the dark forces.

I’m looking forward to seeing future progress on this project!
