One of four games run at this month's meeting of the DWG was this 15mm Hail Caesar set-to with Mr Steve's new collection of Mithridatic Pontics versus a restructured Marian Roman army built long long ago, possibly in another universe and now rejuvenated for the twenty-first century.

it was nice to finally get a Pontic army on the table , my first attempt in 6mm is still on a shelf somewhere waiting to painted which is now never going to happen.I am also pretty sure I still have my first wargaming notebook somewhere with all the armies I am going to build laid out unit by unit, at least I can tick one off if it ever comes to light.

Next up , I am just about halfway through painting up Teutonic knights v Russians .
