Afghan Leader Ahmad Shah Massoud sculpt

My rendition of the Soviet/ Afghan War and Afghan Civil War leader Ashmad Shah Massoud. He's still famous in Afghanistan even two decades after his death. After finding an archive of old photographs taken by Afghans in the period I was inspired to make a figure of him, as there's not really much in the way of any of these Muj leaders available in 28-32mm (outside of Osama Bin Laden, who isn't really appropriate for this earlier period in Afghanistan's history).

His pose is based on the photograph below. Modified a bit for wargaming. There's hardly any images of him with an AK, so I instead gave him a radio - he wasn't really the sort to fight directly. Ah, and yes, its only now I take a picture of the model that I notice the tip of his finger's broken off - that'll be fixed.
