...What primer/skin color combo are you using?  I've been thinking about trying out the contrast paints, but the funky names and the fact that the primer choice changes the resulting finish color had me scratching my head on what colors to try out for just dipping my toe in.
Citadel Contrast: Gryph-charger grey, tentacles Flesh tearer Red.
The upperbody of the hunters is Guilliman Fesh.
All painted wet in wet, then a matt varnish and some Revell glossy varnish brushed on the tentacles etc.

Really easy and VERY fast.

cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

Finally got mine. The "humans" have more realistic proportions than most wargaming miniatures, so they have very tiny heads and look painfully thin compared to say, a Legion miniature. I'll be painting up the Aliens, but on the fence about the rest.

Thanks,  What color primer are you using?  I typically go Army Painter Grey but the rest of the interwebs seems to favor something lighter like ivory or white.

The aliens have a Mignola-esque look to them. I might use them as eldritch creatures.

Either way, fantastic paintjob!  :D

I pledged pretty much for the aliens. I might give the the actual game play a try later, but between this and Deep Maddness I've got enough gibbly, scything, buggy, and tentacled hordes to cover just about any horror that could pop out of a portal from another dimension.

Very nice work - is the game itself much different from the other Zombicide iterations?

AP Grey might be too dark.
I used Citadel Grey Seer.

IMO different, Fatties spawn alone, more Aliens right from the start, no more splitting Zs, different spawns etc etc.

Just watch one of the many rule videos…

The Peacekeeper Bot, Magnus and Baraka. IMO the military Survivor have a definite Star Wars the Old Republic Havoc squad feel. I like it a lot!

Speedpainted Xenium Horror Abomination - re-based, too many bases are warped and are not really reacting to the ususal hot water treatment.
I used round MDF bases of smaller size with sculpted milliput.

Very nice! I'm trying to decide what Contrast colors to use on mine.
I'm trying to figure out how to have three different types be enough of a different color to quickly tell them apart on the board.

That was the reason for the slightly different scheme on the "Runners".
The fatties and worker are easily set apart, but the runner needed a different Colour.

OK weekly update:

Mission accomplished: all Survivors and their supporters right out of the core Invader box are painted.

The Civilians!

The Military Survivors. The left mini received a head swap since I dislike the helmet. (Head is from an Okko Samurai.)

…and the sentry gun and Peacekeeper bot.

Awesome paintjobs Agis.  Just popped open my set.  Looking forward to getting into it soon.

Do they seems smaller scale to you than all the other Zombicide stuff?  Mine is all packed away currently or I'd check for myself...
