Billchuck’s 15mm sci-fi
« on: August 17, 2019, 02:14:46 AM »
I’ve been working on 15mm science fiction off and on for years. I’m back on again, and with the excellent 15mm threads running here, I thought I’d share my meager efforts.

I just finished up the first member of my crew I’ll use to play Five Parsecs from Home.

Very nice work.

Who made the base figure?

It’s from GZG’s “Free Trader Crew” not-Firefly set.

I like how you painted his face, as well as the lights on coat, shirt and trousers. More please.

Great start, and I can't wait to see more! I picked up the Five Parsecs Salvage Crew for my games. I may also pick up the Gang War expansion just to see what else it offers. First game should be this weekend.

Once you walk this path you no longer belong to the normal wargamers!  ;D

We’re normal, it’s all those other people who are weird. :p

Some progress. Progress is good!

First, Reda Richy.

Next, Tine Wooders, retired Space Patrol pilot and now the primary pilot of the crew’s ship, Fortune’s Fool.

I don’t know why I have so much trouble with blue.  It shouldn’t be a big deal, but the highlighting always goes weird on me.  But I’m not so worried about that here, because I managed to freehand a design on the back of her jacket that I’m really happy with.

Looks great, and I can appreciate just how small that freehand logo is.
