Midblight Miniatures Fraying Thread
« on: August 19, 2019, 09:22:53 AM »
Greetings Intrepid Lead Adventurers.. I hope you'll indulge me with your attention briefly (I did buy TheProprietor a beer in TheCastle for ...what was it .. his 35th[?] the other week).

- I, am an obscure mini-sculptor from the last century  ::)
- 'Midblight Miniatures' is am embryonic range of slightly more whimsical fantasy figures I'm tinkering with (not quite available for sale yet, but am narrowing in on one of those Kickstarters everybody seems to love so much).
Attached a couple of pics of the initial 'gangs'
I've a Fbook page/InstaGrim and Twitter (struggling the most with grasping that one).. likes etc greatly appreciated (it's like a comforting pat on the head):

 - Thanks for taking a look :}

Thanks all (I was a bit higher profile in the noughties... this is what happens when you stubbornly refuse to play social media for a decade or so  :'( )!
- I know there are still many who don't (in some ways, things were simpler when TheForums ruled TheWeb).

Here's Dewey the archer with a splash of colour (I was a decent painter back in the day; things have advanced a bit since then!)

Hopefully you'll have a website? I'm a bit over social media except for the two forums I'm on.

While not an aesthetic I'd usually paint or play with, I want to say that these are some extremely fantastic figures and I hope they do great. Stunning.

 Ta.
That's the plan (website).
- I'll be running a modest Kickstarter initially (either the Dwarfs, the gobbos, or both + a couple of stretch goals for fun), and if that goes reasonably well, I'll enlist an assist setting up a website (which will require a bit of art [can do], technical nous [less so]).

The Midblight 'thing' was kind of a self-challenge to see if I could come up with a  fun setting and characters of my own (done), get me out of the house and into a few gaming conventions (before I need wheeling in!) ..

I know I shouldn't but, they are very full of character  :D

Also from imagination and hands of olden times to  ::)

Any idea when your looking to go to KS?

You probably mention it somewhere else but no access to complex risky places such as facebook from work..

If I know roughly when, have a better chance of having money for it   :D
