All commission work at the moment (but an Otter arrived in the post this morning  8) )

First up Gringo's NVA - nice minis but they are big. I nicknamed them the Vietnamese Basketball team...

Superb painting skills on display... really enjoying this thread though I almost dropped my laptop when I read the criticism of St Peers... surely that must have been a typo. The man is a legend...

Lovely work! I've seen them used as MENA insurgents/milita with sculpted enclosed shoes. They're too big against other NVA/VC ranges, but they work nicely against lots of other 28mm ultra-moderns.

Excellent painting again.

I have to agree, I bought all the Gringo's bareheaded NVA as enforcers for my not-Roanapur setting (more organised than the general rabble, but not as organised - and effective - as Hotel Moscow).

The new additions are all superb as it the wall that you use to display them. :o

I really like the Vietnamese - I think they are the best painted NVA that I have ever seen. :-*

Otterly adorable. And that little vehicle, too. Nice and subtle work on the mud stains.

how do you do the mud

It's easy...... liberal use of MiG pigments over and almost dry oil paint wash

And yes, the mud is great.
