Mortem et Gloriam (Death and Glory) Good Rule Set?
« on: August 20, 2019, 09:59:39 AM »
I hope that this question hasn't been asked before (I've had a few years off!).

How do the Mortem et Gloriam (Death and Glory) play for the Late Medieval period in particular?

Many thanks

I have the rules and enjoyed the couple of games I have played with them.   The various mechanisms are a bit fiddly but interesting and work well once you get used to them.   An AAR that I posted earlier this year is in the link below.

A couple of my gaming mates use this set a lot and rate them very highly.

As a game system I like it a lot.  Well supported, popular in the UK but not so much in the States.  I can't say how well it works for late medievals as all I've done really is Roman era.
