What I painted in Septemeber 2024
« on: September 06, 2024, 05:31:53 PM »
May as well get this monthly thread started. These are 3-D printed terrain piece I picked up at Historicon 2024 from Bad Goblin Games. They'll add quite a bit of color to my post-apocalyptic or zombie games. Check them out, and for LOTS more pictures and commentary on what I did and why, see my blog post:

Each of their trailers are different -- they had six at their Historicon booth. Not sure why they're not on their website, yet. I bought #1 & #6, if that matters.  :D

Tried to get these done in August, but ran out of time.

Some Quar. Opted for a straightforward design, with khaki uniforms paired with green webbing and gear.

Almost done with the zombie push. I painted up another batch of 10 Wargames Factory zombie, but also converted four 28mm metal survivor figures to zombies as "Nasty zombies." Most zed games have different tiers of zombies, and I did each type in a different style basing. The nasties have bricks.

On the painting table is the last of the zombies I will paint (10 more WF), and finally a change of pace. For a local Saga tournament, I always paint up two Warlord stands as prizes. I picked out the three figures for each stand and have them on their temporary bases ready for priming next.
