I didn't get any base texturing done, but  I
decided to follow Bob's advice

Quote
Turn that frown upside down. 😁

Managed to get two more clans, a light gun & a general
all ready for basing. :)

708 = The three clans, gun & General.
709 = The light gun.
710 =Clan MacBean on the left & Clan Kerr on the right.
711 = Clan Kerr on the left & Clan Sinclair on the right.
712 = View from the back.
713 = The general. I haven't named him yet.
714 = Close up of one of Clan Sinclair's bases.

Thanks Ian. All progress is good, even if it isn't
at the rate I would like. :D

I think you should keep the lurid pink base…..may lull the opposition into a false sense of security! Lol

I used the base that way up so that it CAN be
covered up & leave a nice white underside that
I can write on (when I decide on a name). :D

Base texture applied. Hopefully dry enough
tomorrow to put paint on.

...and as I hate wasting mixed filler,
I used the last of it for the bases of these.
Alien plant & Sci-Fi 'barrels'.

Looking great! That 80 x50 basing really works for the clans
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Another of your great ideas James. :D

It also works well for the artillery, if you turn it sideways. ;)

Depends on how I count the cannon & mtd gen.
Three medium size clans @12 figs each,
one cannon & crew, say 4 figs,
& Mtd gen base, say 2 figs,
= 42, so I need to do (at least) 18 more figures.
That might be one large Clan (18 figs)
One Average Clan (12 figs) and a Small Clan (6 figs)
or something else  ??? ??? ???
But progress is being made.

There was a delay. I went to my PVA glue, so that
I could 'Flock & rock' those Jacobites, only to find
it had just about run out. Never mind I thought,
just go to one of the two reserve ones. An hour
later & I still hadn't found them! :'(
Those that know me, know my room is normally
a mess. At the moment it is much worse than
'normal'. I eventually gave up & decided to wait
until today & buy some more.
So...after a 'hiccup' here are the photos of them
'flocked & rocked'. Tomorrow, weather permitting,
I'll varnish them.
