I think yours will see more wargaming play, while 'mine'
will see more...play. The new owner should see it today.

That barn is great.  Hopefully you can plant the seeds for war gaming in the future of that young man.  It can be handy to grow your own opponents.  lol

Thanks Syrinx, I have been informed he really enjoys playing with it.
Stories have already been made up, so a future scenario writer too. :)

A Wizard's Tower I picked up from the Trade at Table (Hammerhead).
I filled in all the gaps & gave it several washes & dry brushes.

By the way I have thought about access to the roof. Obviously the
Panatir/Power Globe (& the slab it is on) slides across to reveal the
staircase. :D

A Dark Age fort. Bought the bits off e-bay. It looked great in the pictures.
When I got it I found:-
If I used all the bits I could make a complete fort about 6" square. lol
It had an awful lot of bobbles & holes. :-[
The wall was too high for anyone on the wall to see over. ???
The gateway was too small an area at the top, & had no means of access. :o

Well I worked on it and...

Getting into (back into?) Vietnam & looking at scenery I saw
a picture of a corrugated metal shed. Well you guys know me,
throw NOTHING away.  When an old corduroy bag gave up the
ghost (some thirty years ago!) I cut it up & put the bits into a
box. Well the bits came out &, along with a scrap block of blue
foam, here is my metal shed.

I do try Gregor. I even managed to clear enough table room
to squeeze in a DBA game with MacksMechas, his first but, from
his after game comments, not his last.

Today we have a paddy-field piece of terrain.
It started life as some bashed about 6mm artillery emplacements,
which were part of a job lot of wargames stuff (from a friend of
a friend).

The last picture has it 'in game' at Flatpack's shed.

Our lovely (?) puppy chewed up the back door mat.
He also regularly has a good go at any loose branches/twigs.
'Waste not, want not ' By father used to say, so...

As a friend wanted a 'run down' but small graveyard...

It did get a drybrush or two & some flock, but I passed it on
to the new owner without taking any more pictures. You
get the idea though I hope.

Give it a go, it is not that difficult.
