Peg Leg Pete is brilliant!
Thanks David.
Following your Africa thread, guess what I came across
AFTER I thought I'd finished painting all my outstanding
African animals...a pack of Hyenas!!!! It's no laughing matter :D
I don't even remember buying them.  :?

Last year Helen (my wife) bought me the 'Beast' (The tank
from Indiana Jones movie) from Empress. This month I
actually got around to making & painting it.
A nice addition to our Back of Beyond games.

Miss a few days and a positive avalanche of new stuff. Very well done Pete. You now need to have lots of games to use them all in!

A Dark Age fort. Bought the bits off e-bay. It looked great in the pictures.
When I got it I found:-
If I used all the bits I could make a complete fort about 6" square. lol
It had an awful lot of bobbles & holes. :-[
The wall was too high for anyone on the wall to see over. ???
The gateway was too small an area at the top, & had no means of access. :o

Well I worked on it and...

I've bought one of those forts, it's on both ebay and amazon as a viking fort...

I've been trying to decide if I want to use it as a modular fort or base it as a more static piece with upgrades similar to how you did it...

Two things decided it for me.
1) I dislike gaps when things like this are deployed on table.
2) Where do I store it?

As to '2)' I had recently cleared  a shelf in a display cabinet. I made
the fort base so that it could fit the space. I was then offered a swap
by a friend which was too good to pass over, &... I don't have the
fort any more.  ;D
