Thought you'd been quiet for a few days - and lo and behold a whole raft of diverse beasties and terrain items. I presume the name I could not read was sum-irp :-). Very well done as always, and now you must have some games where you get to use them !!!

Finished the next unit of 15mm Ancients for a friend.
This time four bases of Hoplites. One base had to be
Thebans, to match some I did years ago for him.
I hope he likes them.

As the lucky recipient of these fine figures I have to say "Wot a Grand Job."
Thank you very much Pete. Looking forward to the Immortals, Assyrians et al now!

Cheers,

Simon

The red robed beasties also remind me of the creature in The Village.

I will be starting the filing on the next batch today. I'll keep you updated on the
progress, though I am busy with a LOT of 40K figures for the school club at the
moment.

True. In fact there are several horror stories they would fit in with. I hope to use them
in quite a few games.

School club got some donated 40K figures.
The original plan as to get the pupils painting them.
Two years, numerous plans matched by problems, but we
DID get a paint session. At the end of it, despite the best
efforts of the pupils we had six nearly painted aliens.
A new plan was required.
I took the aliens home & decided to churn them out.
If I could divvy them up into Galactic Heroes teams, and they
were used by the pupils in fun games, then (maybe) they would
want their own few figures. Then we could hold some more painting
sessions.
Hence I  went for colour coded 'teams' & easy figure ID.

Third wave, & most of the aliens now ready to play.
Most were done with dry-brushing &/or thin washes, i.e. QUICK. :D

Sixty figures, painted, based & 'named'. Not bad for a weeks work. :)
