lovely work on those; not surprised more are wanted.

Thanks Bloggard, they are labour intensive though.
Lots of drawing stone shapes with an old biro on blue foam. ::)

Thanks Gregor.

Here another commission piece, though the new owner didn't know he was getting it,
until he finally got the package. It took two days to leave the UK & another four weeks
to clear Portuguese customs.

And after payment, a few more days to deliver. :'(

But happy thoughts. The customer told me he wants more of those plants and 1 or 2 stone houses if and when it is possible. :D

Things are slowly starting to return to normal (kitchen refurbishment) &
I managed to do a little work.
These were purchased painted off e-bay, with the idea they could fulfil the role
of one of the native tribes on Casevil

All I did was some minor repair work, replace the lances on the Cavalry & a few wobbly weapons.
Then rebase & name them all.
Gentlemen, & Ladies, I give you the Rivalords.
(Will no doubt see service in some Norman skirmish games too).

Oh, & I did tone down their chainmail with a dark wash.
Here is proof that I did name them all. :D

The Rivalords are going to bring a new dimension to the world of Casevil.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

I still have to create some troops for the other Tribes.

No work done for a while, as the kitchen was gutted & its contents
dumped where-ever there was space (The Wargames room was heavily
inundated).
Starting to clear stuff & managed to get a two foot square spot to paint in.
That is after I negotiate numerous stacks of boxes etc.

Finished:-
an Elephant, Giraffe, and... well I don't know what it is. ???

The Elephant was from a Charity shop, £1.
The Giraffe also cost a pound (Poundland).
Both will join my stock of African Fauna. The Elephant herd now numbers a dozen!
The...Pink Haired thing, also courtesy of Poundland. I did add the hair, well it
covers a battery compartment. Not quite sure what I will use it for though.

lol lol lol Nice one Bob. You do realize I'll not be able to think
of it as eating leaves off a tall tree ever again.
Now I wonder what tunes it might whistle?
Long Tall Sally?
The Lion Sleeps Tonight?
High Ho Silver...Birch Trees?
Lucky Lips Are Made For...Whistling?
 ??? ??? ???
