Butterfly mentality my friend.

...and today we have :-
A tarted up bit of fish-tank scenery, which will join my Indian Mutiny stuff.
Three Star Fighters, originally toys from the TV series Buck Rogers. I managed
over the years to gather these three, they fit in well with 28mm Sci-Fi & are
far more believable than games workshop's efforts. As these were picked up
at various Die-Cast toy fairs (in various states of disrepair) they were a heck of
a lot cheaper than Games Workshop's too. They were hiding in one of my many
boxes, & got (finally) 'the makeover' due to this lock-down.

Thank you. I hope to get them on the table for a Galactic Heroes game after lock-down.

Thanks Syrrinx0. My wife is quite happy with me going off to browse
at any 'new' Aquatics shop. Seriously curtailed at the moment though
thanks to Corona Virus. I am working through my back-log, thankfully
I've been stocking up since the 1960s.

Today's painting contribution:-
The Inventor,
Two dogs,
Bed (a find at a charity shop, 10p),
Two tarted up tarts (Old figures given a brighten up. They needed it,
having been stuck at Flatpacks for several weeks. They got out of their
box to chat to his locals & missed the leaving roll call.)

Really love your paint style!
The sci-fi minis on page 14 are definitely from the Halo gaming series, they look extremely cool!
It sucks that we don't get all those cool stuff here in Italy :/

Anyways this is one of my favourite threads and it gives me lots of inspiration every time. The things I like the most are the terrains :D

Thanks Launets. If it were not for the lockdown I would offer to get you some from the Works.

Digits, you have just gone through a lot. Go easy on yourself.
Do not compare current output with your normal volume. You
will be back at full productivity before too long.

Have you seen his pile (not piles 🤣)
All this work he has done, is merely  a flesh wound.

To continue with the 'flesh wound'

A pile of dead (Napoleonic) Russians. A packet of Flintlogue? Dead Russians,
which were purchased, decades ago, with the idea of a 'Retreat from Moscow'
skirmish game. If you could pass a nerve test you could search the bodies
for Ammo, food, valuables etc. Game never happened, though I did paint up
some wolves as two friends (Dave & Ian) were putting on a retreat from Moscow
game. Their game (Most of the painting was, I believe, done by Dave) was spectacular.
It was on show at one of the Partizan shows, the time when the old Hall was double
booked (Doll Show?????!!!) & the whole Wargames thing was in a marquee!

A base of dead mounted police, for use in any post apocalyptic setting. Same idea
if you could overcome your fear/revulsion, you could search them for weapons etc.
These came from those nice Eaglestones @ Empress Miniatures.

This time some recycled unpainted 25mm Figures, now small people
in the 28mm Universe.
The 'bugs' had a holster & a bag added out of Mili-Put.
They will be useful as NPCs.
The females are ex Star Trek figures. I will call them
Gemini & they will have a telepathic link when separated,
and combined have several mental skills.

Decades ago, yup, about 40 years, I was in the Pike & Shot Society.
Each year, at the AGM they would hold a painting competition.
The opposition in most sections was very good, however the
'Baggage Train' section was always under represented. A cunning
plan was hatched. Make an Incan baggage train with pack lamas!
Bound to win. The plan got no further than garnering three, yes only
three, Lama.  Time moved on, fast forward to the present...
     I FOUND THEM !!!!!
Didn't bother converting them to pack animals, well I don't have any
25mm Inca. They are at least DONE.

I have absolutely no idea what to do with them, apart from as a bit of
local colour to a Pulp or drug runner game.
