Digits, see Vodkafan. He is collecting some bits for Sudan. He might be
interested in pack camels. Alternatively buy my file box full of assembled
Perry plastic Sudan infantry. There are Brits & Mahdists.

Elephants!
Got these from Dicemaster as part of a (Vietnamese?) DBA army.
Over the years bits got 'recycled' into other projects, but what
can you do with two elephants with several riders on?
Well when they came to to top of the 'to do' pile (for about the
tenth time) I decided to convert them into baggage elephants'
for use with my Indian mutiny troops. They can be on the
Mutineers' side, the British side, or even part of a caravan that
'someone' is about to attack.

Thanks Ian, one more thing off the 'to do' pile.
Luckily I have a VERY big 'To do' pile. Must have
a look through the MDF hill to remind me what
modern stuff I have. Need some scenery for
my Pompey supporters to play with.

Today we have
BATTLE MONKEYS!!!! OK chimps, but Flatpack mentioned 'monkeys'. Purchased out of my
pocket money, two shillings (well it was a lot half a century ago). They were either from
one of Air-Fix's Zoo sets, or their Tarzan set.

Next really are monkeys, flying monkeys! Found in one of my boxes, no idea what to use them for.
Hey how about servants to a wicked witch?

Then, a little bit more 'realistic' two 'Mercenaries'. Near future?

The 2 soldiers are gorgeous!!
Also I forgot to ask, in the previous reply, how do you do your basing? Could you post some pictures of the various phases?
Keep up the good work :D

Thanks Launets.
Nothing too difficult in my basing:
1)I use ready mixed filler, normally from PoundLand (Cheap shop)
to that I add a little PVA glue, again from PoundLand.
2) This is the consistency of soft butter, and I apply it to the base using
a pallet knife (one with a small trowel shaped head).
3) While the mix is still wet I just 'doodle' a few irregular swirls.
    Leave it to set (overnight).
4) Paint the base a dark brown (e.g. Burnt Umber).
When it has dried, dry brush a lighter brown, & when that has dried
(And the figure is painted) dry brush base & lower part of the figure
with an even lighter brown, which represents the dust.
5) If you want to, glue on the occasional small rock (see garden for lots)
&/or bush (Plenty of commercial ones out there, or tear up a cheap
    scouring pad)
6) Using a small brush, which is well past its best, dab on some spots of
PVA glue. Then apply flock of your choice.
Use the opportunity to hide any previous errors.

I hope this of help to you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Found three damaged 15mm Buildings, & in the current 'time rich' environment,
decided to not (do the 'usual')put them back in their box, but repair them and
paint them up. Trouble is I don't have much in the way of 15mm troops.
Ah well they can go to a good home at (hopefully) next years Hammerhead's
trade at table.

During the tidy up I came across a set of dinosaur teeth,
only plastic ones from issue one of a Del Praedo type publication.
Decided not to chuck them, or put them back in the box, but
to do something with them.  May I present 'Stone circle'
useful for any scale (hence two pictures, one with a 28mm figure
& one with a 15mm AFV.). The 'Sacred Tree' (stump) came courtesy of
the garden & the sacrificial 'posts' were from the sprue that the teeth were on.
