Thanks Tangarex, what should I have put to mean 'Steel-eye' ?

By the way, such markings tend to be pulp. So you don't need to alter it.
WW2 wrong thing to rely. In civil war communists fight "white guardy" within country. In WW2 USSR(whole country) is  fighting against fashists. Therefore, there will be different slogans.
P.s. Can't add photo from Google-photo. If can help, PM please.

Thanks again Tangarex.
Yes I am wary of using WW2 (Communist)slogans for my White Russians, but I thought a
few (very few?) might be useful. e.g. there are some that mention heroes of Russia's past.

The Piper Cub and Apache Gunship are much appreciated. One day we'll see them on the tabletop  :)
A friend.

I did take pictures of them Ian, but your picture of the Apache over the town... lots better.
No objections from me if you attach the Apache here.

Feb. is to be, mainly, finishing off things long promised to others.
first to reach fruition were the two aircraft for Westbury.
A 1/48th Apache.  A bit of support for ground troops who fear RPG armed insurgents.
Are you paying attention Digits????

And a Piper Cub. Ideal for those Columbian drug deals in some hidden away jungle
air strip. See who notices Westbury's football affiliation from the plane.

These kits reminded me how much more work aircraft are compared with AFVs.
I can't stick some baggage & a tarpaulin over a dodgy bit on a plane.
Also not helped by the Cub being a very old kit bought relatively cheap off e-bay.
Plastic warps & thin bits need replacing.
They are, after all, aimed at modellers & not wargamers. Millions of fiddly bits,
most of which the average wargamer doesn't want, need & will knock off.
Anyway, done now & some pictures as proof.
In Westbury's pictures the Apache flies over a Syrian town. My pictures = messy
wargames room. Due to Covid, not been used for about a year for gaming.

Note to self.....next time the arms dealer comes to town, buy a Stinger!

Funny, I was looking at the Sarissa Hangar yesterday.  I may need to get you to do me a plane to fit it at some point.   Not yet mind....I’ve enough to do!

Great job fella.

What kind of plane are you looking for?
I know it is not for now, but it would be a shame if you missed out on
getting a bargain just cuz I didn't know what you wanted.
I have picked up a few different makers names from a LAF
thread about Pulp planes.

Tbh...until I can measure the inside of the hangar, I’m not sure....but I like the idea of something like an Adams Aircraft A500 ....like the one in Miami Vice.

Probably hard to find at scale so maybe a gulf stream exec or some such...

Nice looking plane.  That war gaming room looks about how ours always looks.  Though it's been awhile since we have all been there, I doubt it got cleaner.    :)

Thanks Syrinx0, now something you've seen before..
some more alien plants (banana stalks & some flocked
'boulders' from a kid's toy set)

Yes I know I have far too many of them, but I have a
cunning plan. I will start boxing things up with a view
to selling at a Trade at Table, when shows start up again.
I have a supply of tubs (about 6" x 8") which I will fill
with 'things' (scenery/figures/vehicles/ etc) and sell
at £20 a tub. Ready to play, just take it home & stick
it on your wargames table.
Well they do say, 'If you want to hear God laugh,
tell him YOUR plans for the future'

Great looking bananas Pete - how are you distressing the ends? (Oh, and the aircraft aren't half bad either!!) You just churning things out would be a masterpiece for me :-).

I think your alien plant life stands will sell quite well in person.  I like the ones I got from you!  Someday they will grace a table filled with figures that others see.  Someday.  Soon-ish.

I look forward to seeing pictures of that.

When you take the banana from the stalk, the stalk is still soft.
I scrape away the pulp with my thumbnail. Then just leave it
to dry out. Big surprise, things get left in my wargames room,
sometimes for years. However it only takes a week or so before
the stalk dries out. Then just paint it one colour & drybrush it
a different one. What colours? It depends what is left over on
the palette when I'm painting.

I forgot to say, when it has dried out I cut the base flat
(so I can stick it to a base) The bit cut off is then also
glued to the base to add 'interest' to the base. Those are
the gnarly out-growths.
