My first attempt at Verdigris.
I did track down the recipe from another LAFer
in hope that I could replicate his very nice effect,
however all the notes were about which Valheo (?)
paints to use, & I ain't got dem.
So I just played about until it started to look 'right'
What do you guys think?

It looks good to me. I’ve only tried painting verdigris a couple times, so I don’t have any suggestions for improvement (yours turned out at least as well as mine did).

The statue is a good piece, should fit into a lot of fantasy and historical settings.

Cheers Pattus.
It is part of the ongoing (never ending) 'Use up bits'.
I had just the one figure, so a statue seemed a good
way of using it up.

Thanks Gregor, though at the moment GETTING games is the problem.

Very nice Verdigris statue.  Hopefully you can get a game in with it soon.

Progress on the Samurai front
https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=130898.msg1659555#msg1659555

Here are the first Samurai I have painted in over 30 years!
Two units need bringing up from 9 to 12 figures.
Here are the first three. Hiding behind are the 9. As they were
on 1p coins I had to rebase them to match all the other units,
who are on 25mm square bases.

A few more bits of finishing off.
Two fallen pillars & some objective markers (boxes).

For our (Vodkafan & I) Samurai game (follow link for AAR & pictures)

https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=130964.msg1660607#msg1660607

I decided to do up a Sarrissa Japanese bridge, after all it has only
been about 8 years since I bought it.
Hope you like it & look for it in the battle.

Thanks Gamer, the aim is to move stuff from the
'undone pile' to the 'ready to use' pile.
Thankfully due to decades of stockpiling I am
unlikely to run out of things in the 'undone pile'.

Sci-Fi scenery. More things to hide behind/break up line of sight.
Going for my run down & rusty look.

Employing the 'Never throw away anything that looks 'interesting'
I have acquired some packaging, the kind that seem to be made
of egg boxes.
In the continued drive to reduce the piles of 'interesting' & turn it
into stuff for the table, we have today's offering, a Sci-Fi dwelling.
I had hoped to be able to churn these out, but this took several
days & it isn't the biggest!

The last few finished pieces with all the rundown rust and bits would make a great Star wars table.
