Managed to scrounge a few of-cuts of blue foam.
They were then cut up into building 'bricks' & glued together.
Added detail provided with coffee stirrers & bits of patterned paper
(courtesy of pictures of skirts, shirts & carpets in Sunday supplements).

Asterix, the Romans. Did them up for a silly Christmas game.
I started the Villagers & Pirates, even had one of the British
drinking tea, but never got round to painting them.
Also picked up (many, many, years ago0 some larger,54mm?,
Asterix figures, still unpainted.

To continue with the Romans, some senators (used in a 'stab Caesar game)
& some fighters from the arena.

Thanks Codsticker, more today.
Parts done so far for my 28mm WW2 Russian village.
Bits have already been attacked by Vodkafan's Fascists,
well one tank really, and that was borrowed from me.
Tomorrow....The story of...The old empty barn! (there's nothing in it)

Loads more good terrain - lots of really nice looking pieces, you put a lot of work into finishing your terrain off, I tend to get the main building done, and then can’t be bothered to base it and detail the base too. Perhaps I should.
