Live away 'EndT.' All I have to do now is paint & base.
It has got to be easier than getting them off their sprue.
BPM have sorted it out for me. I have the right bits, I
just know too little about modern French armoured car variants,
silly me.

They look great!
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Modern French AFVs glued.
Following Flatpack & glued all turrets in place. If they fell off
I would probably never find them again. Discovering the 'joys'
trying to assemble tiny parts on to tiny AFVs.

Thanks Bob.
For assembly of those with added 'bits', I had to go onto T'internet.
Most of the pictures seemed to be deliberately taken to NOT show
the bits I wanted. I did, to my horror, discover I had missed the missiles
from the missile launcher. Simple task (?????) as I had retained the
'sprue' off-cuts... Just go through it one bit at a time, looking for them.
Methodical & slow = 'Found them!'
Next had to trim them. Near heart attack when on of them (small & fiddly)
slipped out of my fat fingers & nearly fell onto the carpet in my work room,
which has lots of detritus on the multi coloured carpet, but it stopped on
the edge of the table, phew!!!!
The missile AFVs consist of six pieces each, 'Fiddly' does NOT do it justice.

Hay Pete.
Bottom photo, with all the off cuts in. Top right hand corner...is that a radar dish that should be on the aa vehicle ?
Joking.

I hate you! Was busy looking before I noticed the 'Only joking'
I was at one point putting the flash from under the gun barrels
to one side, in case I ended up having to scratch build the missiles.

Found some plastic bases that will do for the French.
The black marks are (deliberately) put there by me.
I don't want any bright bits showing under the vehicles,
if I can't get the base texturing in underneath them.

First & second undercoats.
All applied by brush. I have never had good results with spray,
especially with small lightweight bits. Once had to chase a dog
around the garden to retrieve some plastic soldiers that the spray
had blown off the board & onto the grass. Dog was faster than me
& seemed to enjoy our improv. game of 'Chase Me, Chase me.'

As a break from Modern French, tarting up, repairing & base detailing
some Gene-stealers got from a mate.

That's a distinct change from modern French to genestealers!

All looking good, nice to see someone being actually productive in these times.

More 2nd hand items.
This time required surgical repairs (Arms/legs/limbs???),
upgrade on paint job & complete rebasing.

Thanks Ian, I am now pondering whether or not to
fix aerials on them.
