A purchase off e-bay. It was painted, but I felt
it could look even better tarted up, so I did.
Now added to my ACW collection. Waiting for the
next Joshua Appletree attack by Vodkafan. :)

That looks good! Is it a single piece resin casting?

Yup. No idea who makes it though. Did see its twin on a recent
LAF post, but with the spire's tiles painted different colour to
the roof's. I did ask why, but the poster didn't know (not his building)
but he promised to ask & let me know.

Meanwhile some wall sections. I've taken them out of the box
they were hiding in. Repaired, repainted, re-flocked & based
them up. Tomorrow they make their debut in a game.

I feel I'll need a LOT more walls for when your French attack.
Something along the lines of Maginot's (only without any ends
for you to go around) lol lol lol

Ta Grumpy. Make sure you catch up with the walls in action,
playing the Peninsular game later today, so AAR probably
on Sunday.

Purchased off e-bay some Hinchcliffe Napoleonics
Disappointment they arrived squished into a bag.
These photos show the bag, removing from tatty old
card bases, straightening muskets & bayonets,
trimming the 90 degree corners off the bases,
gluing them to 40 x 40 mm MDF bases & texturing same.

Next a coating of 'Light oak' wood stain.
When that was dry, highlight the white
(cross-belts & plume) and the red (jackets).
Base texture got my usual three colours
1) Dark brown all over 2) mid brown dry brush 3) light brown dusting
After that flock, rock & ready for action.

Well, that’s certainly an enormous improvement, great job! It’s always good to see some veteran lead get a renovation.

Thanks Pattus. I do have a nostalgic weak spot
for Hinchcliffe, less so for Mini-Figs.

Kind donation from Zingara, three 40K APCs.
In need of a little TLC.
Now ready for action.

Some Orcs bought off e-bay.
They came painted, apart from minor repairs
(damage in transit), making & painting 3 shields
(that way I ended up with two units of 12
 & not one of 9 & one of 15)
I only had to texture & flock the bases.

As that didn't take too long, I found time
to work on a Buddha statue.
Bought from Poundland, though perversely
cost £2. It was a bland pale grey & needed
a base to keep it stable on the wargames
table. Should see use in;-
French Indo-China,
back of beyond etc. etc.
