Thanks Bob. Maybe the half a dozen Dark Age figures,
which I will get to you, could storm it when you've painted them?
 lol lol lol

Today we have the gate. I have re-enforced it to make it
look a bit beefier. The tower to go above the gate is shown,
but not yet fixed in place.

Looking good!
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Thanks James. I see in the January Wargames Illustrated
that Renedra at Gripping Beast are doing Viking huts at a fiver a go.
Might buy a few to put inside the fort.

Hold on just a cotton pickin minute!
Is that the same guy who said it was going to be 'Skirmish'
& then went ahead & raised ARMIES, hundreds of figures?
All very pretty by the way. ??? ??? ???
I do believe he has a VERY nice Dark Age defence line,
made by one of his mates wasn't it? (OK it was me) :D

Anyway, back to the TINY SKIRMISH fort.
Today some support pillars added to the gate,
then a start made on a log retaining wall for
the walkway.
The test seemed OK, so now to cut up several hundred
matches. :-[

You'll have to attack then, there is no way a Pz II
(i.e. King Tiger/Maus/Ratte would fit through the gate. lol

If the gate is missing....does that make it gate-gate ?
