Very apt for Jacobite games given, the similarity in appearance to a certain famous landmark...

Thanks lads. Always nice to get feedback, even better if it is positive.

starting up again.
The Jacobite buildings.

Due to try a game (Ancient variant) of Lion Rampant.
Decided to quickly paint up some more skirmish figures.
Some Gaulish warriors, slingers &  Gaesatae, also
Roman slingers & Auxillia.
A bit of a mish-mash, but reduces the lead/plastic mountain.

Keen to see you playing this soon - as I have also been busy with some Romans and Celts.

Thinking Lion Rampant adapted for Ancients have you tried Eric Farrington's
Wars of the Republic: Ancient Roman Wargaming 343–50 BC (Osprey Wargames)?

Not sure David if you mean the scenery, or me.
Right on both counts by the way. :D

Are they from the Men of Bronze stable?
If yes, I would probably pass.
I hope to put up an AAR for my game soon.
