Had a few Roman bits in the bits box. Too nice to throw away,
too few to be of much use, so...
with the aid of a few garden stones, we have some captured
Roman items dedicated on a former chieftain's grave.
A useful objective marker.

Too hot to work on the things I SHOULD be working on,
so my creative mind started to wander.
The wife was replacing the cheap air fresheners.
I wondered if I could quickly make a sci-fi vehicle out of them.
Here goes.

...eventually it is finished.
Not brilliant, but cheap & quick to produce.
The usual learning curve for the first one.
If I make more they would be finished to
a higher standard.

In Star Trek Chekov said, (about some Klingons) 'close enough to schmeel zem'

Well the AFAT (Air Fresher Adapted Truck) should protect my Galactic Heroes crew
from Chekov's sense of smell. lol

More good stuff Pete as always. Love the liquid effects of the earlier pieces.

Thank you Gregor. Effect due to not wanting to waste the last dribbles of paint on the pallet.
It gets thinned down & used as a wash (washes) on whatever is sitting on the workbench.
When totally dry I gave them a couple of coats of gloss varnish, job done.

Found a box with some 40K bits.
'Use it or lose it' (this year's motto)
so here is me working on some stores
& ammo pallets.

Some anti-tank(?) obstacles.
The 'trip hazards' under the projecting 'spears'
are 3D scaffolding from my 1/200th tanks.
I don't throw things away.
The coloured 'weights' (to stop them being shoved
backwards) are from my blood test kits.
What can I say, I don't throw things away. lol lol lol

Two sections of industrial Chevaux-de-Frise,
& some milk churns.
The milk churns were purchased on my first visit
to the States, & that was over 30 years ago.  :o
Finally painted & based.
